Community Impact

Our outreach programs are designed to provide maximum benefit to our communities through our League volunteers, community partnerships, and financial support.

The Junior League of Daytona Beach supports meaningful projects that offer valuable and significant contributions to our area. The following projects highlight the difference we are currently making in the community:

  • Community Grants:  Every year, we distribute money to our community in the form of grants. In recent years, our focus has been on literacy and education, and we have distributed thousands of dollars to teachers to help them equip their classrooms with supplies and books.
  • Diaper Bank: In 2014, we set out to create the only diaper bank in Volusia and Flagler Counties. Our diaper bank’s mission is to provide a consistent supply of diapers and wipes within the local community to promote health and relief to families in need. Contact us if you would like to support this mission by hosting a diaper drive or donating diapers or funds to our cause.
  • Done In A Day:  This initiative assists organizations across the county by addressing a need that can be completed in a day. Examples include creating an outdoor classroom for PACE Center for Girls, installing a meditation room at Project WARM, and packaging meals in collaboration with Provision Packs. Contact us if your organization needs Done In A Day support from trained volunteers.
  • Touch-A-Truck:  This is a free, fun, family-friendly event where the young and young at heart will climb, run around, sit in and visit with the operators of trucks and large vehicles seen throughout the county. This event also focuses on early literacy, as we distributed hundreds of free books to all that attend the event.
