Christmas Parade – walk and hand out candy
Description
Join your JLDB friends on our Christmas float as we walk in the Daytona Beach "Jingle all the Waves" Christmas Parade!
This shift is to walk in the parade and hand out candy to spectators. If your child (age 5+) is able to walk the entire route, they are welcome to come with you.
Please wear white shirt, white pants, white shoes. If you have jingle bells, please bring them. We will provide the rest of the outfit and the bells. Children should wear red or green – Christmas attire.
Meet in the parking lot of Brown & Brown Insurance, 300 N Beach Street, Daytona, at 5pm.
The parade float will finish it's run at City Island by the library, so volunteers could park at JLDB and walk to the staging site and also walk back to your car. There will be road closures, but US1 and Palmetto Ave will both be open that evening. Information about the parade route and road closures can be found here: https://www.codb.us/1025/Christmas-Parade
