Description

Represent the Junior League of Daytona Beach at the One Voice for Volusia monthly meeting. This meeting will have a Foster Care Discussion and Panel. Community Partnership for Children and Neighbor to Family will host a foster care system discussion and panel. We will learn about the process, screening, and licensure along with available programs and services. We will also hear from foster parent experts on their experiences.

Speakers include Bridgette Senez, Neighbor to Family Executive Director, Daytona Beach Programs; Lori Bainbridge, Community Partnership for Children Licensing Manager; Rene Mendoza, Neighbor to Family Foster and Adoptive Parent; and Alyssa Krone-Kernan, Foster Parent Mentor and Caregiver.

One Voice for Volusia advocates for efficient use of resources and data-driven outcomes, and promotes system and community improvements by fostering diverse partnerships in the health and human services field. One Voice for Volusia is a neutral convener, engaging leaders, organizations and individuals to develop and implement strategies to improve the community.

The One Voice for Volusia Coalition is a vibrant collaborative with over 1000 members representing more than 100 agencies and organizations from all sectors of the community. The coalition convenes monthly and is currently meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 9:00 to 10:30a.m. These meetings are open to all who are interested in learning something new, networking and sharing information that will improve the quality of life in our community with an average attendance of 100 each month.
